These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of KLogic's Kafka monitoring platform and services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, browsing, or using KLogic's services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and KLogic, Inc. ("KLogic," "we," "us," or "our"). Your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any modifications to these Terms.
If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
2.1 KLogic Platform
KLogic provides a comprehensive Kafka monitoring, alerting, and analytics platform that includes:
- • Real-time monitoring of Apache Kafka clusters and components
- • AI-powered anomaly detection and forecasting services
- • Custom dashboards, visualizations, and reporting tools
- • Multi-channel alerting (email, Slack, Teams, PagerDuty, webhooks)
- • Performance optimization recommendations and insights
- • Configuration change tracking and audit logging
- • Consumer group lag monitoring and analysis
- • Topic and partition performance metrics
- • Integration with popular monitoring and observability tools
- • API access for programmatic data retrieval
2.2 Service Levels
We offer different service tiers with varying features, usage limits, and support levels:
- • Starter: Basic monitoring for small deployments
- • Professional: Advanced features for production environments
- • Enterprise: Full feature set with priority support and SLAs
2.3 Service Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our service at any time with reasonable notice. We will provide at least 30 days notice for material changes that affect your use of the service.
3. Account Registration and Security
3.1 Account Creation
To access our services, you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information. You agree to:

You may use our service to monitor and analyze your own Kafka clusters and related infrastructure. This includes:
- • Monitoring Kafka clusters you own or have permission to monitor
- • Creating dashboards and alerts for your operational needs
- • Sharing access with team members within your organization
- • Integrating with your existing monitoring and alerting systems
- • Using our API for legitimate business purposes
4.2 Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use our service to:
- • Monitor systems you do not own or lack permission to monitor
- • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
- • Use automated tools to spam or abuse our service
- • Interfere with or disrupt our servers or networks
- • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- • Infringe on intellectual property rights
- • Transmit malicious code or conduct security attacks
- • Resell or redistribute our services without authorization
4.3 Enforcement
We reserve the right to investigate violations of this Acceptable Use Policy and take appropriate action, including account suspension, termination, and cooperation with law enforcement when necessary.
5. Service Availability and Performance
5.1 Uptime Commitment
We strive to maintain high service availability:
- • Target uptime: 99.9% for all service tiers
- • Planned maintenance windows with advance notice
- • Real-time status updates at status.klogic.io
- • Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for Enterprise customers
5.2 Planned Maintenance
We may perform scheduled maintenance that temporarily affects service availability. We will provide at least 24 hours notice for planned maintenance and schedule it during low-usage periods when possible.
5.3 Service Limitations
Our service is subject to certain limitations:

- • Maximum number of monitored clusters per account

6. Billing, Payment, and Refunds
6.1 Subscription Plans
Our services are offered through various subscription plans:

- • Automatic renewal unless cancelled
- • Immediate access upon successful payment
- • Plan upgrades and downgrades processed immediately
- • Usage-based billing for certain features
6.2 Payment Terms
Payment terms and conditions:
- • All fees are due in advance and non-refundable unless required by law
- • Prices are subject to change with 30 days advance notice
- • Failed payments may result in service suspension
- • Taxes are calculated based on your billing address
- • Enterprise customers may request custom billing arrangements
6.3 Refund Policy

- • 14-day trial period for new customers
- • Pro-rated refunds for annual plans cancelled within 30 days
- • No refunds for partial months or usage-based charges

6.4 Account Suspension
Accounts with overdue payments may be suspended after 7 days grace period. Suspended accounts retain data for 30 days before permanent deletion. Service is restored immediately upon payment of outstanding amounts.
7. Data Ownership and Protection

You retain all rights, title, and interest in your data:

To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- • KLogic shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim
- • We are not liable for data loss, business interruption, or lost profits
- • These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory of liability
9.3 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold KLogic harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
10. Termination
10.1 Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time:
- • Cancel your subscription through your account settings
- • Request account deletion by contacting support
- • Service continues until the end of your current billing period
- • Data export available for 30 days after cancellation
10.2 Termination by KLogic
We may terminate your account for:
- • Violation of these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
- • Non-payment of fees after grace period
- • Suspected fraudulent or illegal activity
- • Extended periods of inactivity
- • If we discontinue the service (with 60 days notice)
10.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your access to the service will cease immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days to allow for data export, after which it will be permanently deleted. Certain provisions of these Terms will survive termination.
11. Dispute Resolution
11.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action must be brought in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
11.2 Arbitration
For claims under $10,000, you may choose to resolve disputes through binding arbitration:
- • Arbitration conducted by the American Arbitration Association
- • Arbitration fees paid by KLogic for claims under $10,000
- • Arbitrator's decision is final and binding
- • Class action lawsuits are not permitted
11.3 Informal Resolution
Before initiating formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us to resolve any disputes informally. Many issues can be resolved quickly through our customer support team.
12. Miscellaneous Provisions
12.1 Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
12.3 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by KLogic, constitute the entire agreement between you and KLogic.
12.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent. KLogic may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
